“I think we should take a break”, if it’s coming from your girlfriend it might well be the final bugle unless she is just trying to intimidate you.

What if she really wants a break? It would just show that her interest level in you has gone way down and she is feeling uncertain about the relationship. Most girls suggest this when they want to end the relationship.

Look at it this way; if she was in love with you she would not need a break. So it obviously stands to reason that she no longer feels the love anymore. Maybe she is in love with someone else or she is not sure if she wants to continue the relationship with you. Either ways as far as you are concerned, the relationship is as good as over.

How should you react to it?

There are times when girls say they want a break just because they are feeling hurt. May be the both of you had a fight and you said something rude. When her hurt heels she will get back to you.

In several cases though, she might just mean it. She has lost interest in you and she wants to move on or think through the relationship. Either ways a low interest level has crept in. So the best way to react is to get detached. Just leave her, don’t argue your case or try to convince her to stay.

If a girl loves you she will come back on her own

Let the bird fly and if it comes back, you own it. The same case hold true when your girlfriend wants a break. Just let her leave. Don’t bother calling her or talking to her. Let her be alone and see what happens.

If she hooks up with some other guy, you can just forget about her and move on. There is nothing you can do about it. There might be a lot of anger inside you, but seriously, you can’t change the situation. Attraction can’t be achieved through convincing.

If she comes back to you, well that means she still loves you. Take it forward from there, you can apologize for anything you did wrong and start afresh. You would know that she missed you enough to come back to you without any action from your side.
